Probably be ok but if you have taken the ARB off just be aware its going to let water get into the axle if it rains or you go through a puddle

I would personally be temped to just remove the arb completely then seal the ends up as best as possible to stop ingress of water :)

Arb not been off, was just tightening the bolt to stop the pinging because it was loose and it sheared clean off on the first turn. Cheers for reply dude!

if its pinging then the bearings are probably shot and the arm on a slight angle, when they're moving straight up and down the bolts don't come loose.

Yeah bearings have gone having it sorted next week, loads of camber on wheel.

Had my axle refurbed on my last saxo by a friend and it was a good job and lasted so i'll let him loose on this one after i've got the new bearing kit. Does anyone know what bolt i need to replace the snapped one?

M8x1.25 - 25mm long,a 12.9 grade would be preferred,just in case.
