Hi all i have a 01 vts and today i connected the ecu to my PC by lexia. I have a few question that i need answers from you guys. :)

1. My inlet temp sensor is showing 70°C. That not good and can somebody explain me why is that i was checking when the engine was cold just started.

2. My coolant temp sensor is showing 77°C.

3. I have a decat how to disable the elm when its showing the the downstream sensor fault.

So what i have to check or do something to fix this. Maybe its something with the ground or something because i had issues before with the ecu. By the way the car runs fine and has no troubles.

1.2. get a new temperature sensor

3. plug the bottom lambda sensor back in. You should not disable the eml, purely because next time you have a problem you won't see it. Do what's necessary and the eml will turn itself off, or unplug the battery for a few minutes.

By the way the car runs fine and has no troubles.

I doubt that, the car will overfuel should the lambda sensor being faulty or unplugged. It is a false economy in the long run purely because it costs you more petrol.

Thanks manu but are you talking about the 1st or the 2cond sensor because in my case the socond sensor i can put it into the exaust because it wil show the same reading as the fist and i will have the code that no cat is in there...
