new install

Havent posted in ages due to internet access but heres a couple of pictures of the recent boot build ive had done by a company called acoustic customs in assosiation with safe'n'sound in Brighton

had to move the amps due speakers mounted in the boot lid and it not closing. picture below shows complete boot build finished

2 X jlw3v2 10"
1 X jl w3v2 12"
jl 6x9s xr series
2 X shark 1f power cap linked by busbar to power them up
2 X jl 250/1 amps powering each 10" sub
1 X jl e2150 powering 6x9s
1 X Alpine amp MRPM350 700W running the 12"
sony speakers mounted in boot lid (soon to be jl trs from front doors)
built in fridge under one 6x9
built in cd storage under other 6x9

All finished in black and cream vinyle

Now just the door cards to be trimmed and mtx components fitted and re trim seats.

how much did it cost you?

the 6x9 are possiblly going to go depending on what the mtx components sound like and as for cost was just over £1200 but its still on going what with the doors still to be done

no had that all all ready just had to buy a extra power cap and another amp for the 12

Why wouldnt you of bothered with the power caps then? if you look at most installs they have them it saves trying to fit exra batteries to power it all

Why wouldnt you of bothered with the power caps then? if you look at most installs they have them it saves trying to fit exra batteries to power it all.

And each sub has had its box made to jl spec direct from the US, mixing the sub size isnt a problem as three 12s would have been fair to much deep base and the 10s help with the punchy base
