Right benders.

I've got a pretty fucking diverse taste in music, the only genre I'm not mad keen on is country to be fair, and even some of that is ok. I like rap, trance, rock, what is sadly referred to as indie, oldies, the list goes on. However, my tastes often fluctuate, I'll go through phases of listening to rap for like 2 months, then a month of euphoric trance, followed by a few weeks of AC/DC.

But, I've always got "go to" choons. Tracks that I'll listen to all day long regardless of what genre I'm currently into. So, this is a thread for this, 2 tracks of your "go to" music. 2 tracks that you'll always listen to regardless of your fettle, shit day, great day, etc.

You can post more than once, but don't spam to fuckery, we can only cope with so much S Club 7.

I'll kick off.

Steve Nicks - Rooms on Fire. Everyone else's opinion is invalid, Stevie Nicks has a sexy voice, she's like Annie Mac on roids.

Robert Palmer - Johnny and Mary. My first memories of car trips with my dad involve a copy of Robert Palmers album on cassette, the car varied between a C plate Volvo 240 GL, a yellow Citroen Visa and a white BX 16v.

:y:

Whatever I'm into, I've literally always got the time of day to stop and listen to those two in full.

I have an equally wide range of music choice.

Some days at work one minute i'll be listening to AC-DC the next i'm listening to George Formby then UB40, guns n roses etc.

Thank god for spotify, hard question depending on my mood I have different go to songs...

Currently I'd say...

System of a down - Chop Suey
Papa Roach - Last Resort

Sometimes this can vary to such as

Bob Marley - Three Little Birds
UB40 - Red Red Wine

At the moment though listening to a lot of Schoolboy Q, some of his older stuff and his Oxymoron Album

Schoolboy Q - There he go (older song)
Schoolboy Q - Collard Greens

That gives a taste of the range of music i listen to lol.

Still Grey is incredible! So is Another Planet! Shame they got rid of them, but Axle Grinder is good I guess... Bloodsugar not so much.

Anyway, go to music.

Rammstein - Mein Herz Brennt.
Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds - Eve of the war.
Justin Hayward - Forever Autumn.
Evanescence - My Immortal.
Dvorjak - 5th movement from 9th symphony, "From the World".
Metallica - Orion.
Edward Maya - Stereo love.
Muse - Unintended.
Blink 182 - Carousel.
RATM - Wake up.
Disney - A whole new world (from Aladdin) or Part of your world (Little Mermaid)

I can generally listen to those artists though, especially War of the Worlds, Metallica, Blink and Muse.

More than 2 aye.

CHOMPY!! Bombfunk are good, still listen to In Stereo all the time!

Just checked, nearest show is Glasgow and is the week i'm away on holiday :panic:

I think we can no longer be friends. You have made me aware of this possible amazing thing, then left me to crumble as I can't go see it :n:

No, Matt is the spacker thinking you could possibly limit it to 2!

Have to admit, the original cast are better than the new cast. Was Ricky Wilson in it? I thought he was incredible! Suffice to say though, it seems to be getting worse as time goes on.
