Okay so Boro has the Parmo, but what's big in your area that other people don't know?

I think Newcastle primarily has peas pudding, that tends to confuse people from down south. Ham and peas pudding stotties, mmmmm

I know the southerners do pie and liquor?

Giraffe
7th May 2014, 21:44
Garlic sauce as well, southerners don't get that!

Can you class haggis for Scotland? It's small enough that everything is local, right?

I like saveloys, basically in the form of Mattlesons smerked sersage, but that sounds fucking terrible that like.

MuZiZZle

I like saveloys because they are a sausage, and sound a bit like Saville

Which takes me back to Jimmy fucking my "pretty" mouth

I've said too much

Orange chips! didn't realise they were a Midlands thing till the other day but they're the shit.

Spoke to someone from another area who said their chippys don't do southern fried potatoes either, is this a Midlands thing or?

South Wales has but I also think some places in England also have them (clarification needed) Rissoles from fish & chip shops, it's basically potato and meat in a ball covered in bread crumbs

Haggis is national , local delicacies in glasgow are square sausage (lorne) , potato scones . In Edinburgh you get "salt & sauce " on your chips instead of "salt & vinegar "
