Hi guys, need a bit of help here. Am i missing something from my boot lock? Key aint turning and central locking will lock doors but not the boot. There are a couple of leads coming off a loom near the back glass but cannot see how it would reach the lock mechanism as there is a gap of approx 8-10 inch from the connector to be boot actuator itself. I would have posted pics but cannot see for the life of me how to post then

Remove the black panel in your way by undoing the T20 torx bolts holding it on.

2 either side of the panel and 1 inside the handle you use to pull the boot back down, then just pull it away as it's held on with clips.

Have an inspection and take pictures of the inside, could just be the metal rod that activates the lock/unlock mechanism has come off.

As above & the 2 leads each side of the glass will be for plugging into the heated rear window(one each side)

Ahh right, are they available on ebay? what would i search for? Have you seen any other posts about this? Sorry for being such a noob, but it's doing my head in either having it open all the time or locked

After looking at the picture.

You have nothing plugged into the central locking motor (marked red)
I think you need to plug in the (marked blue) plug with 2 wires

The other plug with 3 wires is for the rear wiper.
