:bump: as previous thread car ran no problem then wouldn't start changed the fuel relay 3 times to make sure , fuel pump, injectors, rail, pressure regulator and crank sensor
removed the rail with injectors, 3 sprays of fuel then nothing I pour fuel down the throttle body and it fires up then cuts out again :wall:

plus bypassed the fuel cut off switch

Right lets start off from the start, what has been changed now mate?
And at first it ran fine yus? Then cut out? And since then it starts but cuts out everytime yus?

Was running finewhen parked up then will not start
Theres 3 spurts of fuel from injectors then nothing
Fuel pump primes then doesent continue to power after wards checked with a test lamp

ran fine then would not start all of a sudden
I have changed the fuel rail, injectors, fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump , fuel relay and the crank sensor
theres 3 spurs of fuel on prime then nothing so I checked there was power at the fuel pump theres only power to prime then no more power to pump
any ideas

Tried an unlocked ECU?

I have a single plug 1.6 8v ECU that will get the engine running. That will let you know if it's an ECU problem.
Plus I'm only down the road in Perth.

its a 3 plug vts/gti ecu I would need but thanks any ways
not tried an unlocked ecu think I might get an auto sparky to look my neighbour is in his last year of apprentice ill get him to take a look lol

If you've started it without the immobiliser/ pickup ring etc then the ECU will have locked and will need to be unlocked by someone who knows how to do it. (it involves flashing the EEPROM on the ECU)

pick up ring has never been removed
