My car has started making a clunking noise at the drivers side front strut at low speed while slowing down under engine braking or light braking , the car doesn't make any noise at normal road speeds , does NOT pull or judder under braking , had new struts and new bearings , new driveshafts (8000) miles ago I have no idea what it could be , anyone any idea?

Check your wheel nuts, I've had a similar noise one time when I forgot to torque my nuts up after dropping it off a jack

Check the wishbone nuts inside the car mate.

Check the wishbone nuts inside the car mate.
The car has had new wishbones and track rod ends this month and was making the noise before that as well , really does sound like it is coming from the strut/brake area

I am thinking it is the top mount bearing so I will just buy a new one and see if it sorts the problem if not awell its only £11
