Hi guys, my friend helped me put my wheels back on my car and when tightening the wheel bolts up one of them wouldn't tighten and kept spinning as if it is threaded. The bolt is tight in the sense that it doesn't want to come out but I cant tighten it or remove it at all... has anyone got a solution for this?
Thanks

Shiiiiiiiit, okay the wheels arent coming off for a bit then... :') would it be alright to get one from a scrappy? Or best to replace them both with new ones?

be silly not to fit new hubs and wheel bearings. try recutting the threads on it if you can see if that helps

True, how am I going to get it out to recut the threads though as it wont budge?

Unless it's the bolt that's stripped and not the hubs but it's quite likely the hub. Might be able to helicoil it but probably easier to just stick a new hub on.

you'll have to get it out somehow to replace the hub anyway

Undo the other nuts, remove them then pull on the wheel as you undo the remaining knackered nut, should help!

Hopefully it will, I do it smaller scale when unscrewing things that don't want to come out, pull the item whilst unscrewing the screw!
