Spoox wishbone mounts

Nearly done refurbishing some wishbones I bought, just need to press in some new ball joints.

However I have some spoox metal rear mounts, Ive been reading reviews on them and heard they are impossible to get on to the wishbone... However I have the opposite problem, one of my mounts sits very loose, it can easily be wobbled side to side and taken on and off by hand.

Any suggestions on how to fix this? (the other mount sits perfectly, no play at all)

If anyone ever needs a solution/bodge to this - masking tape around the wishbone end, lots of it.. and smash the shit out of that mount to get it on, safe to say there is no chance of getting it back off.

you should of left them on when you painted them and just masked around them.
