Whats concerning is he has no grasp of the english language and no understanding of the repercussions this could lead to. I go to grass roots racing because there is a lot more access to race teams and areas of the circuit. I like getting close to the cars, talking to the people racing etc. If paddocks are locked down it will be a real shame.

I'm surprised there was no-one manning the gate of the entrance into the tunnel. I would guess that it was still closed and they gained access by opening it up, rather than it being open so they could drive right in. I hope they see common sense that its a one off and its a balance between getting race car and ambulance access to the circuit vs idiots on a mission to do idiotic things.

You see and hear about it all the time,prisons are too full,this that and the next yet they're putting folk away when there's clearly alternative punishments.

There was they reckon £4200 worth lost due to this numpty so he should have had to pay that back,in fact with him going to jail he'll have sweet fuck all to pay.......other than the medical bills to have his arse stitched back up.

Not everyone has been caught. Not sure how you expect every bad apple to be! I dont see many serious crimes not getting a jail term when convicted. You may not see the seriousness to the crime but certainly the judge can and thats what matters. :D

Sadly that's how it works.......literally the lawyer can walk over to the person that's just been fined and ask "how much can you pay" and the rest is history.

Obviously this applies to those who have either no job or don't make very much.

You can't plead poverty when they pretty much know everything about you,social reports etc.
