One side is brighter than the other

Hi guys, I got my new rear lights today an when the lights are on the drivers side is really dim to the other side, I've changed the bulb plus thought maybe it could be down to not having the car running so even with the engine running it's the same, any ideas????

have you got a multimeter? Test that the wiring is giving you the same voltage both sides.

No I don't, I have just read online that could be down to corrosion or bad earth so I think I'll go have a quick look at the connection, little things like this bug me lol

Sorted it, wires where round the wrong way round for lights to break lights, silly but could of ment the case of following the earth! People look an learn to before hitting the roof lol

I had a similar thing going on, except it was a dim bulb. 30 seconds later, done....
