Hello all

I purchased a 1 litre bottle of Autoglym Super Resin Polish from Halfords around 6 months ago and upon washing the car today i found it be watery. I gave the bottle a good shake as you should do and when i applied it to a new polishing cloth it just sort of soaked through the cloth. The colour of the polish looks ok. The product has been stored in correct conditions and upright.

Since purchasing the bottle i have only used the product a couple of times first around 6 months ago and then 3 months ago so there is still around 3/4 of the product remaining. Surely it should last longer than this as polishing is something you would do maybe 2-4 times a year and therefore the product should last.

Halfords won't take it back as firstly i don't have the receipt anymore even though it still has there soft security tag on it which was de-activated upon the purchased and secondly i don't have the receipt.

Anyone else has this problem with the same product and should Halfords take the product back or are they just fobbing me off just so that i don't get a replacement.

Thanks

Prickle

It's all down to storage, I'm amused at you trying to return it though, kudos

So let me get this straight, you tried to take back a 6 month old used bottle of cheap polish?

Give it a maaaaaaaasive wank shake see whatcha got.

Or just buy another bottle.
