Well I've been dieting and going to the gym on and off for ages now.
Just got back on track with the diet and I must admit I don't hate it!
Going back to the gym tonight to completely wear myself out and then feel really good about it. Hoping to shift 2-3 lbs this week

dont take this the wrong way..
you're either huge (thus the weight drops are relatively large) or you wont be eating this week.
to be fair I've started uni and already in fine student mode by eating one crappy microwave meal a day. Apparently i've lost 2kgs since sunday which is bull :wacko:

you should know i'm not huge seen as though i see you at our yorkshire meets (no offence taken) lol
i can do it sometimes but struggle to lose even 1/2 lb some weeks

i don't think that its bad for you, its just that if you lose too much at once you have a bigger chance of putting it back on even quicker.
correct me if i'm wrong

I won't correct you as I am not 100% but I think its just as unhealthy as putting on too much weight in a certain time as losing too much in a certain time.

Well I didn't go to the gym last night...........I went to my body sculpture class instead.
Instead of just doing everything at normal speed I really threw myself in to it and now I feel like I'm going to turn in to a quadraplegic! I'm serious my arms and legs feel like they are going to drop off!! And my abdomen really is in pain I can't bend much at all lol
All be worth it after my weigh in on Monday!!!

I wont give in cos I forever think of the reason I'm doing it. I'm doing this for myself in my own time so there's no rush about it. I have two goals so if I can't meet my 1st one I will at least accomplish the more realistic one.

Got my weigh in tonight and I think I've only lost a pound but even if I have it's something. My scales are different to the Weight Watchers ones so I will see tonight if I reached my goal of 2-3lbs
Will be happy with ny weight loss really, as I say I'm in no rush

weighing scales unless regularly re-calibrated (electric scales) are bound to be incorrect so I am waiting til tonigt to find out my true weight.

I got a gym membership last night for my local leisure centre. £33 and I get unlimited fitness classes, use of the gym, swimming and half price sunbeds
I know I shouldn't over do it but I'm planning on doing something every day except friday and saturday. If weight doesn't drop off me then I'll be surprised...

Dont worry about going everyday its actually OK (DEPENDING ON WHAT YOU DO!) - for example, if a bodybuilder went everyday this would be no good at all for him/her. If say, one day you go in for just 30 mins cardio or something that would be fine. WHat exactly will you be doing on each day etc?

A few different fitness classes like boxercise, spinning and gym. It's all different so nothing repetetive! I really want to lose 1st 5lbs (minimum) so I have to really throw myself in to it and take it seriously.
All the classes I'm looking at doing would cost over £80 a month so if I stick to it, it will be well worth the £33 a month

dont expect that doing all that will lose you 4 lb a week or something and i wouldnt be surprisd if you lost a 1lb again
unless your huge, which i doubt it, you wont see massive losses

I'm not looking for a massive loss I just want to see a bit more a week after all 1st 5lb is a lot to lose and that's what i have left to lose until i found out how much i weigh on monday

I'm now going to the gymbob every other day and it's doing a shit load more than i went every day.
Quite amazing
I'm still a scrauny mofo though.

I went spinning last Monday (was rock hard) and Body Sculpture on Thursday so not as much as I planned. I will find out tonight how much I've lost.
When I go to the Gym I go on my own and just take my I-pod. I find that if I go with someone it distracts me and I do less.

Yeh I have been going on my own a bit but for the sort of training I do its much better with somebody, to push you past what you can do etc. I need to get an ipod!
