Vtr engine, behind the coilpack and fuel injectors. Whats that part called. It curves round to the back of the engine ?

your questions are really getting more random by the day.

I believe you're describing the intake manifold, which looks like this:

I'm all for people learning skills, but you do sound like you have a very basic knowledge of what you're doing. There's nothing at all wrong in that, everyone has to start somewhere, but be careful, if you don't know what you're pulling at or tinkering with you could put yourself in serious danger.

Do you have a Haynes Manual for the car?

Im bumping my post count up really ;)

yh dont know alot about engines tbh. Never really interested me. Im not completly incompitent when it comes to cars. Took it all apart monday to fix the leaking matrix pipe. And i done some rear shoes on an astra. Woop. Lol. Can do most non engine related things

Anyway under acceleration i think the inlet manifold sounds rough. Cant hear it when it just ticks over. Any ideas why ?
