View Full Version : Clunking noise from front driverside

I have a Saxo VTR 2003, no mods.

Between 5mph to 40mph, I hear a metalic clunking noise coming from the front driverside. :wall:

Only happens at these low speeds and going over bumps. It sounds like it's coming from just behind the wheel (stuck my head out the window). :afro:

Anyone had this problem before or know what it could be. I've had it since I bought the car 3/4 months ago.

Wishbone? Droplinks?

Droplinks or balljoint.

Cheers mate. I think you may be right with the droplinks. When the front left wheel goes over a bump, the front right makes these noises which I believe is a sign of the droplinks going.

There about £8 each so it's worth changing them both.
