Hello,
Ive got a 2 channel amp lying about, changed front speakers to comps and just wondering what i need and how do i wire them to the amp?
I know i can put the amp under the seat ect. I already have a amp in the boot running a sub, which will be coming out when i start my new boot build
How do i run the amp for the fronts? do i tap in to the power cable going to the boot? and the same with the remote wire?
Bit Confused:wacko:
Thanks:y:

Use a distributor block to split the power cable. You can run an additional remote cable or splice into the one you have.

Thanks pal! But its cheaper to buy a amp wiring kit and then i get rca leads, remote cable ect, would this still be okay?
Thanks:y:

Either way would be fine you can split the remote/rca inputs and run a separate ground from the amp and bolt that under the rear seats. You can either run a separate power feed from battery or split it with existing as long as it is protected by a fuse.
Getting new speaker cable through into the doors to the front speakers is a pain in the a**e. You have to locate the rubber grommet where the door wiring loom is, make a hole in the grommet to feed the speaker cable into. It is time consuming but once its done its done :)
