Took the car to the mechanic last week (my uncle), took it in friday for gearbox and clutch change, told me would be monday this week when i got it back.... So upto now the car has been with him 7 days tday
Still waiting, He's come down with Ghout in both feet (crystalisation of bones), he cant walk...
Car is in bits all over his garage, So i cant even collect it to take it elsewhere, he could be off weeks with it, in the meantime i'm driving a P reg citreon berlingo 1.5D with 169734 miles on the clock, Just took it down the m1 and it hits the limiter at 75mph......
What a joke, and funnily enough everywhere i turn there seems to be a saxo....
Starting to lose patience with him now...
What do u think i should so guys?

Yes im sure hes well happy about his illness at present.
Id rather have my family healthy then any lump of metal on my driveway. I can understand its annoying as it would piss me off too not having a car but what can you do, he didnt ask to be ill

i,m sure that someone would lend you a vehicle to get your partner to hospital and if they don't then that is what ambulances are there for.
as already said, family members are more important than a lump of metal, even if it is an inconvenience for you. i would quite happily watch my sax burn if it meant that i could just have one more hour with my mum!
sorry that sounds harsh but you don't actually realise how much someone means to you until they are not there and you should be doing everything that you can to help him get better!
