Had a quick google and surprisingly it comes up with a million websites selling them.

The car I have just now came with a private regi on it, just wondered what I have to do to sell it. Anyone know?

No offence meant, but is it actually worth anything? Like for instance, if it's some wazzy irish "JIZ 6969" or something, it'll cost you £100 to stick it on retention and get it off the car, which could be a sizeable layout if the Reg is worth £150 and takes months to shift?

W1ANF, so some bellend could easily space it to read IAN F.

haha, get a quote I guess dude. I think prices vary massively and it just depends on whether it's worth it to someone. I think if you reckon it's worth a couple of hundred and you're willing to sit on it, just stick it on retention, and then advertise it yourself, it's easy to do and you don't have to give anyone a cut.

W1 ANF should easily do a few hundred quid I'd say, probably more if you held out. The fewer the characters, the higher the price. Mine was around £1200 when it was purchased, but it doesn't say anything, and it's value is to me. I wouldn't sell it, but if I did I imagine I'd be sat with it for some time before it sold for what I'd want for it.
