Dan's Milano DC2 !

After a while of searching for a car, viewed a ek9 but it was a dog then a couple of dc2's one was a dog other was 240km, jdm and nice but no history and guy was asking too much so found this one on itr forum 123k been owned by enthusiasts for the past 12 years both middle aged with kids so not been ragged around by a young lad never been tracked etc so as a results engine and box is mint as is interior, got 2 a4 leaver arch files full of work, invoices, services, not had a chance to read it all yet last 2 servaces come in at just over 1k also been ran on 99 octane all its life got all the recipts and full servace history and its been serviced by the owners between services too haha,couple of bad bits one arch is starting to go typical honda haha and rear bumper is cracked at top and front lip scraped getting on to truck doh, and think one of the rear light seals is dodgey so camping mat fix.

Spec:

123k
Full respray in 2009 so no milano pink :)
Suspension fully polybushed
Hardrace engine and gearbox mounts
Exedy organic clutch
Exedy 4kg lightweight flywheel
AP Dixel slotted disks front and rear
AP Dixel Z pads front and rear
Cusco master cylinder stopper

Don't really have any massive plans as such want to keep it as oem as possible but just make it really mint with just a few subtle changes.

Plans :

Fix rear arch
Fix rear bumper
Fix lip
JDM DC2 manifold
Decat
Back box after a mugen twinloop
Refurb wheels to gunmetal.
Maybe some Meister R's .
Full paint correction its swirly in places in some lights.

Came home with this :), was a long ass day sat bolt upright for 600 miles in a transit that feels like your sat in a washing machine.

So today set about giving it a mini detail paintwork wise i polished, then glazed with white diamond should hide a few swirls then topped of with a few coats of fk1000p and im really happy the red paint is so bright, do want to do full paint correction when I've got a couple of days free.

Yeah man its not too bad size of a 10p maybe a little wider, tegs rust inside out so ill check condition of the inner wings there single skinned and rustproof them :).

Omission is one use, but you also use one if something is belonging to. The teg belongs to Dan, so it is Dan's.

Yeah you like the JDM front end i had a look at a few but generally they were worse for wear, and cheers for the advice on importing even though i never went through with it :).

So done just over 1k miles now loving it feels awesome to drive its only a little bit faster than my civic but everything else is so much better, the lsd was a little bit weird to get used and best of all it hasn't burned a drop of oil literally none !, big change my old civic went to Blyton last weekend and burned 8L of oil throughout the day haha.

Anyway so first thing was get some new front tyres on brigsone potenza re002.

Then came the backbox, sounds decent keeping the standard centre section but will be getting 98 spec 2.5" mani and decat.

One of the back calipers started sticking pad wear was very uneven so must of been like that for a while, so yesterday set about freeing rear brakes up and whoever last did the brakes they had zero greese on :mad:, one caliper wound in nice and easy other one needed some persuasion came free but not happy with it so new caliper will be ordered and since the brakes had zero greese on i did the fronts just for good measure and suprise suprise no greese rear pads on both sides needed edges grinding down now all brakes are free and greesed up :).

Right not updated for a long time been some bad and good, she passed mot with flying colours.

So bought a 2.5" manifold and decat along with jdm centre section, and a new bonnet catch.

Then black ice I managed to plow down a drystone wall, that resulted in a bent wing smashed lights fucked splitter and bumper and scratched door.

Haha I know with no mention of the damages, and I just prefer the way my EK drove felt and looked tbh, and it needed a gearbox, side of car painting, and rust sorting and as you know integra's rot from the inside out.
