I have £280 saved up for an alarm for my VTR, but i'm deciding what to get because I want the best but good value for money.

The company I used when having one fit on my Westcoast was a company called Audio Images in Bradford, they did an excellent job and only charged me £160 for a Cobra Alarm & Immobiliser.

On the VTR I want a CAT 1 one now, so here is the options.

Clifford 650 (I think) same as Adam Smiths (adamsax) - £400 Fully Fitted

Cobra 7993 - £270 Fully Fitted

Not sure on Toad Alarm yet.

I would prefer to go with the same company again, but can anyone recommend a decent person? I would like a Clifford because they seem a really good alarm, but I need to save another £120.

Any help is appreciated,
Thanks,
Luke

Ok, thanks anyway.

Might ring that Audio Images up again and see how much they want for one. Do you have the actual model number?

you should not really pay any more than £250 for an ai606 fitted to a saxo as it is not a hard car to work on. And £400 for a clifford 650 that is the top price i will do a 650 for £300 fitted the cheapested you should do them for is £350 but i do you guys a deal ask AWS as i done his yesterday he had an arrow 5 fitted for £200.

Yep, reevesy done a great job on mine, didn't get a CAT1 as no discount on insurance, but loving the range on activation.

thanks again reevesy.

Good thing about the 650 is it comes with proximity as well as being a full-closure CAT1. Also, add-ons are easily wired in. So, either get the G5 650 (like mine luke) and add to it as and when OR save longer and get the best out there which iirc is the G5 AVANTGUARD.
