My first post in here, sorry about the bad english, I'm from finland smileys/smiley2.gif
Planning to change my 1.1i saxo in to vts look.
I'm looking for VTS wheel arches but can't find any smileys/sad.gif
Carzone has somekind of arches but would they fit with other manufacturer bumpers? Something like D&M Front bumper, Dimma rear and Wings west sideskirts...

I'm looking for the same kind of thing.
But if you buy the VTS wheel arches from a citroen dealer it will be expensive as i found.
I am not sure about the carzone arches either.

the car zone arches are not really wider or anything and they should match up to other manufacturers bumpers

Just trying to be 100% sure off the things to do...

the arches themselves are a little squarer but they should line up just the same as i remember Mike Jobson saying that they are not any wider or anything so in theory them should be oksmileys/happy.gif
though be careful there has been a flood of fake car zone kits that fit very badly

Shows really clear the Arches.
Web site www.carzonespecials.com is useful. Shows all parts in quite good detail.
I'm going for the arches, side skirts, and door strips - £390.
Just got to find a nice looking front and rear bumper now, i don't like the carzone ones.

Ok, thanks m8. I'll get back to this when I have the arches smileys/smiley2.gif
I don't like those carzone bigmouth bumpers either. I'm planning to use whole dimma kit or just Dimma rear bumper and D&M front... Sideskirts, no I haven't decided yet... Maybe wingswest or dimma or sum'?
Merry christmas everybody and happy new year smileys/smiley4.gif

lol looks like we have similar ideas, D&M front with Dimma rear. Although the mark 2 front is growing on me.
I also like the wings west skirts but not sure about fitment so i'm gonna stick with the c-zone ones.

Yep, carzone says that it WOULD fit, they weren't 100% sure but 99%smileys/smiley2.gif
So looks good, now just saving cash for the arches, bumpers and skirtssmileys/smiley16.gif

Would Wings west arches fit with a bit of tweeking or is the difference between the arch and the body of the car too different?

i'd like to see none c-zone skirts fitted with the arches or to be at least assured that they would fit. There looks to be a large dip from the arch to the body work, whereas on VT models there is not.

I dont think it would be too bigger problem, got my carzone arches fitted, all ok. Well chuffed actually had to cut the inside a little though coz my wheels were spaced out a little but now the rear wheels sit under them! They fitted perfect onto my front and back bumper which were meant for the VTR's. check out my pics? Louis Carter's saxo.

Yeah, i saw your car. Very nice work mate.
Can you see what i mean tho. Large gap between bodywork and the outside edge of the wheel arch.
http://www.sax-p.com/photos/photo4095.jpg
Whereas on the Wings west kit there isn't because the arch is part of the 3/4 rear pannel.

If i was to get the c-zone arches i'd be stuck with the c-zone skirts.
I recently found a breakers yard able to get hold of all the pannels from a VTR i need to do the arches and door pannels etc so i think i'm going to use them and the bodyshop up the road to fit them after i get hold of the bumpers etc in order to fit the wings west kit.
Not too bold and easy to remove when it comes to selling it on.

Scott

they shouldnt be the worst things in the world to fit. Depending on how you do it, if you want to put them on using the clips then its going to be more tim consuming whereas bonding them on will not take as long and less fiddly

are there kits available that come with arches for the base models. might have to have a look around for some of them if there is.

The only kit that comes with arhes for base models i've found is the carzone kit, picture on first page of this thread.
Just don't go to citreon for the arches...£800.
I tried a pug breakers yard, also did citroens, £200.
