Sat nav stuffs

Was thinking if I have a external sat nav ie a tomtom and have a internal sat nav on the car which is poop could I somehow get the two working together?

I was thinking could you use the internals of the tomtom to use on the incar satnav screen somehow?

Admittedly it was a quick thought but with enough knowledge could it be done

I think tomtom and poop are not compatible. You wouldn't try to connect a sony faceplate on a pioneer headunit.
