seems that a lot of people are rejoycing his retirement. they keep talking about how hes a cheater and stuff like that, whereas all i can see is a great driver who knows how to use tactics and bend the rules to his advantage. yes hes been caught a few times but still theres no denying that he is one hell of a race driver. please discuss.

itsafastworld - yeah you read my comments lol, i think personally think F1 will be less exciting when hes gone as theres no one to try and beat. yes thers alonso and kimi etc but for me they just dont have that charisma of schuey. i switched channels when kimi started talking coz hes so boring!

not just schuey i also am great fans of mansell, hill and senna if anyone was asking.

kimi... minimnininininmanananminin good race mininimmannnabbhshdff car set up mondkffong THE most boring cunt in the world...

at the end of the day every1 in sport or f1 trys to gain an advantage.. its only because of the press why schumis are publiscised so much...

the thing every1 forgets about schumacher is that he began his career during the end of the senna era, and so was in cars that were alot less driveable. has any1 ever seen inside a benetton from 91/92 theyre so sparce..

he learned his trade the hard way... i feel if you took the driver aids away that are in place now he would be even furter in front.

the way he sets up his car the knowledge he has etc.... going to be a loss

I like the guy, but this opnes it all up for other races to shine now. He had a good run, and now he wants to "Spend time with his family"

'he learned his trade the hard way... i feel if you took the driver aids away that are in place now he would be even furter in front.'

exactly, hes been through it all. Bloody cars are computer driven now... its all about the electronics not the drivers.

if i was him i'd be big headed, cos he knows his shit.

What is it 7 world Titles under his belt? I'd be big headed about that.

glad people are seeing sense. everyone seems to call him a cunt and twat simply because hes a winner and knows how to use everything to his advantage, if he DID cheat to get himself to pole position, dont you think he would lose the race straight afterwards if he didnt have the beans to back himself up as a drive? man some people are just jealous.

Was not expecting his announcement in the press Conference after the race like, just flicked over whilst playing Tiger woods to see it.Glad i did now

the man was passionate. he drove with his heart on his sleeve.

anyone who saw him breakdown when he broke sennas record would know that.

hes a good driver i cant fault that, but ive said on ssc hes a cunt and not very sporting, as mentioned, parking at monacco therefore slowing down other drivers, hes also took hill, coulthard and villnerve (sp) off the track which isnt good driving, it is cheating.

Schueys a legde, but him winning all the time DID get a little boring, still tho gotta give him credit, no need to hate him for it.

Too right. Take away the best driver in the world, and you've still got quite a few really talented drivers all trying to be the best. Should make for some really exciting races in the future.

Schumi is an excellent driver, and very intelligent, and used this to win his races. He was an outstanding talent (even though he was German...!) and will be missed, but the time always comes for change, and change is good.

Best F1 driver ever. Has had a destinguished career.

But he looks like a girl with short hair and hes cocky as fuck. Also he is a millionaire and I am jea;lous that he gets to drive an F1 car. The bastard
