connecting ps4 to psn problems

Hi got a new ps4 yesterday. Im aware the psn had been hacked but back on now as I can connect my ps3 now. I can connect to the router ok put password in etc and test connection which says is fine. But when I go to sign into psn I get an error code sayin NW-31456-9 cannot connect to the server within the time limit. Ive changed the mtu and thats not worked and reset the router which hasnt worked. Ive got a bt router if that helps. So has anyone had this problem before? Cheers

Mine hasnt worked since last night, hackers have said they will be attacking the netwoprk again today ,so not sure whats going on,

Ok but I can get online with ps3 still. Or do the ps4s use a different server or something? Does yours say connection timed out? Cheers

PS3 is apparantly up and running, all I can do on my PS4 is play single player games, wont let me create a party or go on PSN.

It's happened to the Xbone and PS4 servers. The PS3 servers are fine.

even sony admitted its been hacked, was even on the news earlier, They have upgraded there security but still not put PSN back online.

traffic increases a lot around christmas, those lizard cunts did not have much to do. Goes to show they can't do jack shit out of peak hours.
