I've got my 1.4 box strapped up to my vtr lump all fits perfectly other than the bottom of the fly wheel is exposed a fair bit, there's thread in the gearbox that indicates there might be able bolt on to, anyone know if there's a plate on the VTRs gearboxs or if anybody else has had this same problem the more help the better :)

You should have a thin metal plate that bolts to it to cover the hole. It should have been there when it was on the Furio too.
The gear ratios in the Furio are the same as the VTR box as well so don't expect any gains.

It doesn't on the furio the bottom end on the furio is built to the shape of the box were the vtr bottom end is shorter hence why the box is exposing the fly wheel also the furio box is different to the vtr one the vtr box has longer gears were the furio one has shorter
Anywaysthere is a plate for the gearbox then?

No the vtr and Furio are the same.
Also yes there should be a small metal plate protecting the bottom of the flywheel.

So If I were to go to a breakers I would be able to find one of these strapped up to a VTR box?
