In need of a new shaft, just wondering whether mine will be tapered or non tapered (W reg VTS)? Also are the JR driveshafts on eBay actually decent and worth buying?

I've had a few JR driveshafts and never had a problem.

As for the tapered/non-tapered thing , couldn't you take a driveshaft off and see if it's tapered?

W reg should be tapered but I'd check to be sure. +1 for J&R

Okay mate thanks, just haven't had time atm with working nights and seeing no daylight. :homme: if I'm changing the shaft is there anything else I should look at changing too? Someone mentioned the oil seals or something.

I'd do oil seals for a couple of quid you need too!

They a pain to do mate? If it's not too much trouble could you send me a link to them just so I know what I'm looking for, I'll end up buying the wrong thing otherwise haha

Seals are a pain in the hole to remove(worked this out last night) spent 20 mins with players and screw driver then realised we had a seal puller and took seconds to remove. But for less that a tenner for a full set it would be silly not to change while shafts are out
