Ya the saxo is better on the brakes and it had a bit more power just needs a remap at the moment it's still a standard ecu so I'm not getting full gain from the mods.

Them wheels are like hens teeth I'm told😄there of a C5 there an alloy steelie and super light only about 4.5 kg so makes a huge difference as unsprong weight saving.
There a mighty little track car punch way above there weight and for a 1.6 it can put it well up to the 1.8 civics out there😄

There a bit of a pain to do not the ha easiest job I've done'I found the best way to cut the polycarbonate is with super thin disc on the mini grinder!

I tuck off all the bolts and I'm just using rubber bands on each side lots of lads doing drifting use these,it's very handy for loading and unloading as the car is so low.

Ya need to keep the little white clips that hang from under the head lights,they help keep it all steady.
The rubber clips are very strong I have tested them well and have never moved.
I normally cross the bands to give better support.

Great day out today
at Mondello in my first Time Attack event,the little Saxo went very well and never missed a beat all day.
I came 3rd in class
But I was delighted with my best time of 2:08.035 I should be able to squeeze better times by the end of the year as I'm only 6 months into this little car.
Thanks to all the lads in time attack for a great day and my buddy Paul for helping with the car all day.
Looking forward to round 2

There is a nice difference 2nd 3rd and 4th are much better,the changes between these gears don't drop you out of the power band so your pulling all the time.
I have gained almost 10mph on the main straight where I normally test the car.

Another event done today with the Rally sport association in Mondello and could not be happier with the little Saxo it never missed a beat all day.
Have to say thanks again to Dec for sorting my tracking at such late notice because it made a huge difference and the car handled perfect.
So out of 129 cars I placed 38th overall and 5th in class 4 with 23 cars so needless to say I was delighted[emoji1]

It's undergoing some work at the moment I'll be racing in the Future Classics Championship next year so it is being converted to phase 1 front end but I'll be sticking with the colour scheme as I think it works with the blue👍

I had a breakdown that day the coil pack shit itself so I fitted a Mondeo coil way better job👍

Used a small air powered grinder to grind it all out then back fill with chemical metal.completely remove ICV and adjust idle with screw.
Good gains for 0 money😄👍

Had a great day at Fundracer last Friday, but I didn't see much track action as my clutch exploded after my first early morning session:(

Cheers man!yea cheap clutch it was brand new so I have since ordered a Helix 6 paddle clutch.
Got in a bit of trouble about the helmet but lucky it was only grass and is all ok😁😰

Some onboard from Sunday's race,no frills here just getting the job done.Defensive driving for most of the race made it hard for me too make a move on the lead cars,also 50 litres of fuel ballast kept me honest and just above barrier time.[emoji106]

Another Amazing day at Mondello yesterday!We had two demo races but with 20+ cars on grid which was great for a demo.The weather was perfect for racing and that we did[emoji1]We done a lottery pull for grid spots on both races and I pulled 13th and 8th for race 1&2 respectively,I was happy to fight through the pack and finish 3rd in both races[emoji106]

My first race with the ITCC this year. Lots of work done on the car over the winter to get it up to spec. Finished 2nd in class in both races on the day. The Honda Integra has around 240bhp so I'll have to fine a wee bit more power for him [emoji106]
Race 1 got a good start and taking the lead in production after dogleg. Just didn't have enough for the Honda on the straight..
