Car locks, and then unlocks itself again...

Alright folks

Took me door cards out yesterday to fit new speakers, done that no problem. Ive left the cards off for now as i still need to amp the speakers...

now, when i use the blipper to lock my car, it locks, and the unlocks itself again straight away. Any ideas? If i use the key the central locking still works with the key....

The door pin is getting stuck, take the cards back off and refit them.

Cheers ill av a look. Cards are still off. Just hoping i haven't hit a wire when i drilling the rivets. .

If the cards are still off then the pin might not be getting guided properly.

I wondered about that, been trying to hold the pin in position whilst locking it but that didnt work.. ill just av a fiddle. How do folks get on if they permanently remove the cards ?
By the way mickswan, the linkages arrived yesterday, cheers for them. Ill fit them soon.
