Hello, I have a 2000 VTR, the door lock will not unlock using the key, the fob hasn't worked so I use the key in the drivers side, it wont unlock and I can't unlock the door now, has anyone got a answer to the problem please, thanks.

Most on here will say throw a brick at the window.Does the bootlid still open with the key?

The boot lock doesn't turn, its the drivers door that's my main concern, I could always get into the boot when the car is unlocked it wasn't a problem, until today when the lock on the drivers door wouldn't unlock.

Unlock from passenger side, unlock drivers from inside and get the doorcard off. Might be something jamming the rods. Does it try to turn at all?

Tried that, the key works in the lock, but doesn't unlock it, won't unlock pulling the lock tab on the door from the inside, lock turns fine from outside and when you try to open the door from the inside it doesn't open

Thats odd, they don't just jam up like that. Not even if you pull like fuck on the lock button? If you have someone else to hand try the key on one side and the lock button on the other, or if you get the window down try it. Even shifting the door around to see if it will dislodge it
