I've considered it, my roof looks like an mma cage for cats! I have now decided to eventually sand mine back and paint it instead but as far as I know, it's fairly easy providing you get the right stuff, the one that stretches and has tiny air tubes, also have a patient mate on hand aswell and a heat gun to help smooth out any ripples even though on a roof you shouldn't get any.

Easy a pie mate just make sure you buy decent wrap like the 3m dinoc and get yourself a felt squeegee. They have air release so no bubbles. Just remember once fitted you gotta heat the whole lot to 30 degrees to remember the shape or it can shrink in sunlight.
