Removing badges

I want to remove my badges off the back of the car, the one that says "Citroen" and "Saxo" So I can respray them as they look a little tatty and grey now.

Is there a safe way to remove them and reapply after spraying?

Better just t-cutting them

Easiest way of removing them is to use an old credit card behind them.

I just got a hair drier too to heat up the sticky backing, just be careful where each letter joins the next as they are flimsy.
