So am on me 3 set of these and wondering if their is more to them than meets the eeyes or its just general fking pot holes and speed bumps causing them to be replaced quick.

Am on me 2nd set this year already and had after market ones added and now they have started to thud when going slow you can here on both sides.

any recommendations on some good after-market ones that are going to last and be good for road use with pot holes and speed bumps. I generally take time going over due to car be fairly low. could this be reason why they are fking up so quick or could this be suspension springs on front causing problems or links on wishbones ?

I'm the same, if the sturdy have to come off for any reason after six month of me drop links I just replace them for the price

So common thing to replace on them then. Fucking roads in UK need to be fixed. Maybe send my bills to the council and claim back as seen a fair amount of people doing other stuff for pot holes and fair amounts of speed bumps damaging peoples cars and getting refunded. Never ends. where fine for me but now looking like both have tiny amount of play in them so is it worth spending any extra on uprated ones or waste of money.

I've seen rose jointed ones on eBay but who knows

Not sure how you are killing drop links. I only changed them on my GTI after 100k because I felt they could do with changing after that mileage not because they were particularly bad. Fitted OEM ones though.

I be lucky if I have done 15k miles let alone 100k then again roads round here are a nightmare on saxo street and nothing but pot holes and speed bumps
