Lowering springs

Posting this on here because I get more response than other forums. Got a vectra c, can get a set of Apex lowering springs (front and rear) for £116 from eurocarparts. Firstly do I need to upgrade my shocks when fitting lowering springs? And secondly is apex an alright make? Thanks.

35 mm apparently

No need to upgrade the shocks imo for a 35mm drop, however as with all modifications it will invariably shorten the lifespan of your stock shocks. Apex are fine. Ive used them on my e30 bmw and 35mm springs in the front of the saxo, never had an issue.
