Shoudl i remove the pedal, weld a plate on, then drill through and fit pedal.
Ive fitted other two and fitted the accelerartor by drilling through and attaching to current plastic, but its a bit of a bodge, by the way, spaced them out and feel great, more room than before and easier to drive with them.

i took rubber bits off, and then drilled through the metal left. Looks ok. and feel fine. Just make sure thier tight.

Yeh wouldn't taking the rubber bits off first make more sense?

yes, but its not possible to drill through circular metal is it.
I took the peddle off, then bolted new one to it, then clipped peddle back on, lined it all up first before I drilled it, to make sure the bolts didn't catch the metal bar

yeh thats what ive done,
BUT id rather have a bit metal welded on and drilled properly, not very confidence inspiring as it is.

I could understand if it was your brake, but you don't go stamping on acc pedal!! plus the way the bar is behind pedal gives it plenty of suport, it will be fine

Just changes the look of it, that's it. It's a style mod.
