Hi all,
Recently put up a post about my saxo, and it turns out i need a new axle. I think im going to get a recon axle, the question is how much should i get it lowered by, (im presuming its better to get it lowered by the people reconditioning the axle)
The problem is i dont know how much my car is lowered by, it is on apex springs, but i have no idea how many mm it is.
I just went out and measured from the top of the wheels to the arch and there is a 85mm gap, (vts wheels 195 45 tyres)
So if anybody would be able to provide info on how much to ask for my axle to be lowered by would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Toby

I would personally go for 35mm or 40mm

That's to low at the back doesn't sit level with the front.
But might be the angle of the pic. Lol. You say it's on apex springs. I'm sure they are either 35 or 40mm spring kits. Whatever you decide you must make sure it sits level otherwise it will look shite. Lol.
