Hmm might want to learn yourself before you teach others.... "i went out a bought a bucket" i know its your bad example, but you still fucked up as you was only on about "bought and brought"

only messing! I See what you mean tho! who was that a rant at?!

Who cares. not everyone has good spelling. shouldnt hold that against people.

My spelling is shit and i dont care, If somebody i knew had bad spelling i wouldnt think anyless of them.

Bit shallow IMO

dannyjay
11th September 2006, 21:55
Specialy when you moan about spelling and grammar and your using words such as "Thanx" and "Ppl".

I agree, just as long as they make an attempt to put it in English and not TXT TLK then it's fine by me

y dus evry1 get so upset bout txt tlk? lol

Viper
11th September 2006, 21:59
im not judging them.. just annoys me. and i use ppl and thanx because its alot faster. but if you are going to be like that, i will talk/type in perfect english for you. i will use perfect punctuation, and begin each sentence with a capital letter. lol

It's also classed as text talk, which you will find is frowned upon. And to be honest if your any good at using a keyboard it should be faster to type "People", instead of "Ppl". :)

Viper
11th September 2006, 22:06
its faster to type a smaller word, especially when the letters are soo close together, such as p and l are above/below eachother, which requires less movement than to move across the keyboard to get to the e..

and, yes, i agree it is classed as text talk, but its fairly minor.. unlike theey guys who do it to such an extent you cannot actually tell what the bastards are saying. :)

dannyjay
11th September 2006, 22:08
Like I said if you used a keyboard in a correct fashion you would find it easier to type a normal word than a "Text Talk" word. :A:

Viper
11th September 2006, 22:19
i dont use it in a 'correct' way. i type in the way that lets me type the fastest..

It's because there are lots of foreign people who come onto this site who cannot understand it.

I am also dyslexic like you viper and i also have irlen syndrome and even ocd like you.

I also get confused with words ie.. no / know
my grammar is also very bad, i dont put fullstops and what not in the right places

we cant all be perfect

''I was racing my car round Maccy D's car park and now it's a rite off''

..Aswell as the other variations, such as 'right of'.

Makes me feel like twatting my head against a brick wall! No; I don't know why!!

noxtioN

but i cannot help sometimes!!!

sometimes i am ok and others cannot spell or even write a sentence that makes sence!!! it does to me but no-one else.

sometime i use this -

like cit-ron or high-un-die or can-a-bull on bad days anyways!!!

Dan

lol, why would people want to 'race' their car around McDs ?

wasnt someone on here banned from mcdonalds for racing the wrong way thru the drive thru?????

also on topic:

She BROUGHT me a drink!

She BOUGHT me a drink!

just an example, both make sense and can easily be mistaken.

we aint all A-stars, and dyslexia is a common DISORDER in people and would easily explain mistakes like these being made.

we just got lazy like the rest of the world has, always trying to find shortcuts round the simplest of things including language and grammar.

Viper
12th September 2006, 22:34
1).. im not an A* student.. fecking far form it. lol.. AS.. i got ACC.. GCSE.. i got AABBBBBCCD...
