Different tyres size

Hello,
Does someone use different tyre sizes in track/races?I am thinking about putting 205/50 on rear and 195/50 on front to my saxo.Maybe handling would be better or it is a bad idea?

bad idea, you want wider front not rear.

pointless without wider wheels however, they will flop about otherwise.

I use a 205/50 15 in my sax... u have to hard cut your internal arches till the line of the clips.. and calculate exactly the offset of the rim otherwhise u will hit the external arches or the internal suspention with the tire.

I've a final offset of 1 with a 7 inc rim with 205 tyre with -2.8 camber, sure 550lb sprint help me much to not hit the arches in corners
