Ok the time has come.......i have a wicked red 1.1 deisre at the moment and I want something a bit more sporty. However, im only 17 (nearly 18) and have been driving for just over half a year now. Should I fit a VTR body to it and alloys (eg; the works) etc or should I buy a 1.4 (or even 1.6). Opinions and possible prices please...........cheers

depends how much money you have and if you have already done anything to the car. personally i would buy a 1.4 or 1.6 if i could afford it

get a furio mate, bigger engine and you get the kit all fitted with no hassle

dont go for furio, you will only think why didnt i go for vtr, why not leave it till you have a years driving experience at least then think about it

definately go for the furio, saves spending money on the vt kit. and insurance wont be too bad if your nearly 18.

You should keep your 1.1 for another 6 months, get some driving experience, then trade up to a VTR. You should be able to get a very good VTR from about £2400.

Agree with what most are saying. Might aswell keep the 1.1 till your insurance runs out then get a VTR. Wont be too crushing on insurance if youve got a years no claims bonus.

yeh might be wise to wait, but i know its hard to wait. either way. get a furio or vtr thats a year or 2 older and it wont cost you anything. especially if you can get 2.4k for the 1.1

if i were you i would buy a 1.4, cause sooner or later your gonna want somethin faster than a 1.1. may aswell do it now if you have the funds!
