Have you tried using a bigger slide hammer? Only question I asked is a used a few off the shelf ones and they are always a bit small. I found knocking up large one normally helps. falling that you do have a few options.
I would recommend alternatively drenching it in acetone for a day then giving good scrub, then penetrating out and give a good scrub then repeat. I would also recommend nocking up a puller. Just use a good quality bolt and them knock up some spacers. lubricate it well before fitting and use a impact wrench on it to tighten. If still struggling put another bolt in the other end and sleeve it with some pipe to strengthen and get someone to tap with a lump hammer and you use a impact wrench on the other end.
Other option is blowtorch but you will normally trash rubber parts in the vicinity so you will probably wish to give the beam a good over hall after going down that path.
