306 gti front brakes

Alright folks. Want to upgrade the front brakes. Not many 206 gti sets about. Are 306 gti brakes a straight. Fit to saxo vtr? Think they're same size disc as 206 gti. Cheers

They'll fit but they're big heavy bastards. IMO if your going for bigger brakes the 266mm will be enough.

You'll need to grind a bit off the strut.

306 GTI are the 286 iirc

266mm from a late HDI 306 really. Lots of early 306's used the same 247 up front.

Might even find the same on ZX/Xsara

I'm sure there is a guide on here as to what fits. My 266mm setup was from a 206 git (not 180)
