If my adjustment on the clutch cable is as far as it can really go and when you select a gear and it starts to judder does this mean the clutch as had it.

could be a worn clutch cable, does it over rev when you stamp on the go pedal?

No mate doesn't over rev it used to crunch going into reverse and first gear was always a bit stiff so my mech said adjust the nut on the cable since then it's started to get worse now it just judders as I start to move and when clutch pedal pressed to the floor there's a squeaking noise from the engine bay. Going to see garage tmoz had the car 13 years and it's never had a replacement clutch or cable but being a saxo it's had everything else lol
