Sub 4k turbo

So I started a thread the other day looking for a car for under 4k ideas after thinking about it I definatley want something turbo in this price range.

Been looking at Astra gsi's but some arsehole agreed a deal with me had a 2 hour drive gave a deposit only for him to refund me and sell it to someone else.

Any ideas welcome

Don't fancy anything too old and must dump off not a recirc my leon had a recirc and it spoiled the car for me,

Anyone no much about impreza wrx? I used to own a wrx sti blob eye so sort of just disregarded the wrx as it has a shit interior and no brembos but there in my price range?

I disagree with this. The 1.8T is a fantastic engine and practically bullet proof. But again it would be a recirc like your LCR was.

Are you still set on a turbo? Could you not be tempted by a 330ci?

S13 and S14A were the most fun cars I've owned to date. Completely unreliable and got police attention everywhere I went but jesus they were good craic.

You might be able to find a Sunny GTi-R for around that price, again, banter.

£1250, you could probably forge the bottom end with used parts and get another turbo for ~£750.

I didn't comment on how well built the engine was, I merely commented on how common the various cars are.
