Headlight Problem

Hello,

I am having a problem with my highbeam lights on my saxo the problem is that they wont say on. Dipped beam works fine and when i pull the stalk to put highbeams on they come on and you hear the click on the stalk then as i let the stalk go they just go out and i have neither highbeam or dipped on.

I can get highbeam on if i hold the stalk but not idea to drive like that!

anybody have any ideas what it could be?

Change the stalk, sounds like it's knackered to me. Quick and easy.
