The AX is 3 stud so unless you go to the effort of fitting the front legs and rear arm from a 106/saxo that's 4 stud you won't have many options for brakes.

You can retrofit some calipers (i think from a AXGT or something) but from what i remember the initial outlay was more expensive than a simple 247mm setup from a vtr/s and the associated suspension bits!

I don't think theres any 4 pot calipers out there that will fit under a 13" wheel without tiny discs, and that defeats the object.

the 247mm brakes should stop an AX on a penny though :panic:

there are many, those hi spec ones that used to be available would work fine on a lighter car, only reason they are not available now is the caliper used wasnt strong enough for the weight f vehicle

and where I can find them?

I used to have AP 4 puts under 13" wheels. The problem you find is most of the low profile brakes are race oriented and lack weather seals that you would find on most road cars.

Try "boni" on here... he used to sell the 4pots for 13in rims...

Boni stopped selling them as the HiSpec callipers he had specially made used to flex under stress. Hi-Spec wouldn't sell them to anyone other than Boni either.

He popped onto a thread about the HiSpec callipers on the 106RR a few weeks ago and said he wouldn't be selling/sorting out any more sets.

the simple asnwer is yes you can get 4pots for 13" wheels depending what sort of wheels - but it will be a special = so will cost-
but why? change to 4 stud and 14 or 15" wheels they will fit an ax with 195/45x15 tyres then you have a mucher larger choice of braking
we used to raceo ur ax on 14 0r 15" rims for years

Yeah, Keep 14" and go down in tyre profile to suit.

lot less choice in tyres in 14" than 15"
