As title says guys car sounds like a tank, even had several people tell me same.
Only really when cars idling.
Car is unmapped with low comp Pistons if that would affect it, also noise sounds like it's coming from the top rear inlet manifold.

Can't hear anything really except for a ticking sound, which may be injectors or tappets.

Sounds like it's coming more from the inlet mani Steve, would loose spark plug, or loose injector cause the noise?

Did t get chance to check the plugs, 2 of cool pack screws rounded off so will have a look when I have a bit more time to do it.
Also would the timing make it sound like this if the timing was out, never can be too sure from the garage that fitted everything lol.

ccheck your cam pulleys are still tight. the 3 little bolts on each one, may have worked loose, plus dont wait to check your spark plugs, get it sorted or things could go bad very quickly

Thanks for the reply Adz, I did manage to get the rounded screws off the coil pack and investigate the spark plugs but none of the plugs are loose so that's one to tick of the box.

at around 22 sec to 24 sec you have a drip of water come out and again at 26 to 28 sec towards end of it near bottom of where manifold is.
Does sound like not firing on all cylinders or cloud be idle problem too. Might be under 1k rpm id check the rev counter see what it is on when its making the noice and see if bobing up n down sounds more idle or not firing on all cylinders to me this. And maybe find where that leak is coming from too :)

Thanks for the info mate going to get it checked over.
As for the leak, well spotted lol it's a little drip from under my plate where the 2 oil coolers sit, when my oil cooler exploded it went all over and now and again drips the odd 1 or 2 spots from the bracket.
Need to take it off really and clean it up lol.

Has ya saxo had a remap done to it? Just thought of that too. When I had mine remapped and 6 hours spent on it being fine tuned had all sorts of problems till fine tuning was done and eventually got it spot on and I do remember having a similar problem for starting and holding idle. When mine has had a long trip on road then restart sort of sounds like yours but more of a constant judder and then rev it a few times and goes away. Is on me to do list at what could be but right now got 2 arches that need welding where fuse box and ecu is :(
