high beam alignment

Is their a way to adjust the alignment of these. Headlights are fine but when using high-beam in fog the paths seem like crossed over one higher than the other and x formation on them.

Jsut been out now as its almost 0 visibility and using high beams I seem to see less with them on daft as might sound but when about 40% visibility or so work fine long distance but in really bad fog like now seems to produce bad results.

Any way to improve this or adjust them to work correctly.

Fit some osram nightbreaker bulbs,and ask a garage to set the beam pattern up.

already have nightbreakers in and am sure they checked them when I had mot done but normal is fine however high is way off guessing they didnt check them or just passed it on everything else as all was spot on

this! its what the Fog lamps are actually for, not to "look cool"

Well when you cant see 5 ft in front of you it don't help matters, and understand the glear and feedback off it, and on country roads when needing to travel on this morning was really bad. And not looking for look cool feature or chav look id rather have safty first then looks first. Next option maybe get stronger fog lights but already have nightbrakers in maybe go for some HID but then meh they just cause more glare than give any results.

Maybe check your headlight bulbs are correctly fitted in the holders then as the others say get them check at a mot station etc for alignment etc. Has your car got the electronic adjustment wheel thing under the dash does this make a difference in driving in the fog if you alter the settings

It's not your car, high beams in fog just make it worse. Nearside should be a llittle higher up. Park against a wall to see the pattern. When it's foggy like you described, just slow right down and be patient, better safe than sorry.

Yeah has adjustment wheel on it to move up and down on the normal lights high-beam needs adjustment as done as what said above and move 10 to 20 feet away from wall and the height of high beams are like 15 to 20 feet up the wall and nowhere near pointing in right direction or in lineament with others and miles apart. Whats the recommended for them or this different for tpyes of lights bulbs and car?
