So after taking car apart bit by bit to find any problems come across hole or holes and cracks of doom. Really tempted to just scrap the fucker get garage and tare down n sell all parts on.

Under Drivers side for shit guard is hole location ECU under it nice hole of doom n cracked.

Have checked down the other side for fuse box and without removing can see a big crack down it.

Any idea on what this gonna cost to get both sides repaid?

fucking hate cars with a passion and now I know this is going to be MOT fail unless fixed. So any idea on costs ?

wont cost much, typical

you WONT find a saxo or 106 on the road that doesnt need some welding there now.. if theyre not rotted or soft theyve been done before

piece of piss to sort

its an easy job to sort but its hard to quote you without seeing the car and knowing ow far its down, the inner wing/engine mount box might be gone aswel.

i could sort the job but it wouldnt be drive in drive out as youd need. i run a recovery business day to day so the work could be sorted if you were local and could drop/collect when ready, not gonna be ideal for you id guess?

What I could do as after I get in from picking parts up tomorrow I will jackup and strip down the sides and seeing how far down each side it has gone.

I can snap shot pictures in close up to provide as much information and do a full walk round if that makes sense of going though it all.

Maybe take a small screw driver to parts n see if it warps or fractures the metal.

Is their anything I can do to stop it getting any worse than currently is by maybe painting up removing rusted areas and fill in with something to temp sort to stop any more damage.

Am guessing it could be a few days work. Just after details of such as I can be without the car for a week or so as had full gearbox rebuild done beginning of the year. In a way I don't want to rid it as I enjoy the car and fun little pocket rocket and had some crazy offers for it to buy. So keeping and maybe one day value will increase as VTS get rear.

Plus this is the only defected areas I have come across for rot/ rusted areas as had car ripped down to almost shell when done full wiring loom throughout the car. When it comes to welding n stuff like this am no good on els if i knew how to I would.

its not gonna get worse over night, but if you start scratching and poking its gonna get worse, so if you start it.. youll need to finish it.

few days should get it sorted it wont be more then a days work at a guess but i dont get full days on repairs due to reco. message me some pics and we'll go from there 07979106840

i can 100% tell you itll be cheaper to find someone local to look it over and quote you but i can help if need be. some locals are tosser to begin with

Yeah tell me about it some here are a fking joke. Some guy quoted me like 1200 for a full rebuild of my gearbox and was only to re place washers and bearing and ended up going out way but was worth it at a fraction of the cost. Not sure if £350 to £400 for a rebuild is good having 1st 2nd reverse gears changed and new added washers, bearings, and clutch kit done over 4 days as was a bank holiday n had leave over weekend lol.

Any back on subject, if you got watts app ill drop you some ill drop you a message now so I don't forget adding you.

Well got a few more quotes in.

£100
£120
£200 for both to be done re painted and sprayed and also gunk added on to prevent future rot. Not sure if worth £200 tho as can easily respray myself and prime and gunk.

Looking more like the £100 guy seems to know what is on about and has done a few in past for saxo. Could well be on to a winner but still looking around maybe get down to £50 would be a nice price lol.
