So I thought I'd re live my child hood and bought a VTR!

Only paid £170 for it so you can imagine the condition 😂

But I want to make it a cheap fun car!
Any ideas for little mods? Already has an induction kit and will be buying an exhaust system soon!

What else can I do that's as easy as bolt on and not going to break the bank?

Hi noob :)

Put decent tyres if there aren't already, better grip, traction and braking. Now the cheapest way is to lose weight. Make sure it doesn't need a cam belt before you start doing anything else...

Thank you! What's a popular tyre for everyone then? Standard alloys will most likely stay on as I quite like them!

A little lowering always makes them look good.

I'm looking to restore mine to standard as much as possible other than the height.

I'm going 30/40mm but other often go 50mm and more.

As for mods, get yourself a decent panel filter to go inside the standard airbox.
421 Manifold with straight through system will help breathing.

Any recommendations on suspension? And best place to buy from?

I'm currently running a cone filter so just need to sort out exhaust system, been looking at hoffman systems? And a nice stainless 4-1 manifold.

Also is the premium membership worth it? Is it still administered?
