Read the how-to-guide on removing the door pin locks from the interior, how ever it just says cut them off if you got a mk2, but surely if i do that the metal will rattle arround in me door?

Has anyone done this and thus know what happens? I am going to try and fit blue leds where the locks should be, the LEDs are in testing atm as the last one i tried melted because my resister was not stepping down enough

I cut mine and dont get any rattling at all. The only slightly tell-tale sign is when 'some' people slam the door too hard :@, theres a little sound then, but nothing that really pisses me off.

Cool, what did you cut them off with and did you cut them at the top? Or find a way of cutting them inside the door

the thing about leaving the bar in is it could leave door open, or keep it locked, thats is if it jams, when it's freely moving about, never heard of this happening but wouldn't want to take the risk

Did either of you completely take the door or lock of to do this if not how did you see inside the door (Ive obviously got the door card off but from there its difficulty)
